Reglan

Long-term use of Reglan associated with tardive dyskinesia

Reglan (metoclopramide), only approved for short term (less than 3 months) treatment of gastrointestinal disorders, such as GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease), has been linked to tardive dyskinesia.  Tardive dyskinesia is a neurological disorder that causes uncontrollable, repetitive movements of the body such as lip smacking, grimacing, tongue protrusion, puckering and pursing of the lips, rapid eye movements or blinking, and rapid movements of the fingers, arms, legs, and trunk.

If you or a loved one has taken Reglan and been diagnosed with tardive dyskinesia, you need to consult an experienced prescription drug lawyer to discuss your legal rights.  At the Kisselburgh Law Firm, we have years of experience of representing clients injured by prescription drugs and successfully recovering money for our injured clients.  When experience matters, contact the Kisselburgh Law Firm at 601-936-4040.
